The Center for Middle Eastern Studies is pleased to announce that it will co-sponsor an upcoming conference entitled, Muslims in Europe and in the United States: A Transatlantic Comparison, organized by Dr Jocelyne Cesari, Research Associate at CMES. The Conference will bring European and American scholars into dialogue on different aspects of the consequences of the war on terror on Muslims in Europe and in the United States, the influence of secularism and multiculturalism, and the importance of the media and political discourse on Islam.
