Rachel graduated from the George Washington University with a BA in history and a minor in Judaic studies. She hopes to focus her research on both Ottoman and contemporary Middle Eastern social, ethnic, religious, and political history. More specifically, she is interested in Mizrahi Jewish history and migration, as well as current issues of human rights and marginalized identities in Israel/Palestine. At Harvard, she is currently studying Arabic.
