Khushi Nansi

PhD student, Department of History of Art and Architecture
Khushi Nansi is a PhD student in the Department of History of Art and Architecture. She studies the medieval Islamic Mediterranean, focusing on sites of occlusion within Spain and Sicily, into the Arabian Peninsula. Her research interests are transhistorical. Currently, she is also working on a book project on women and jewelry in the modern and contemporary network of the Indian subcontinent. Khushi has contributed to exhibitions in Toronto, Venice, and Paris. Before coming to Harvard, she completed her MS in Islamic Art and Architecture at MIT and her BA in Art History and Labor Relations at the University of Toronto.
