Doğa Çınar is an AM candidate in Middle Eastern studies at Harvard University. She graduated from Boğaziçi University with a double major in economics and history and received the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) grant for her interdisciplinary studies in the social sciences and humanities. In 2022, Doğa spent seven months in France, first as an Erasmus exchange student at SciencesPo Paris and later as a research intern at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Fluent in Turkish, English, and French, Doğa is also learning Arabic and Modern Greek, with reading knowledge of German and Ottoman Turkish. At CMES, she is particularly interested in Ottoman art and architectural history, focusing on the architectural and cultural exchanges in the Aegean region.
