Danielle comes to CMES from Cornell University, where she graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Near Eastern studies and fine arts with minors in Jewish studies and European studies. There, she studied Hebrew and her honors thesis focused on inter-religious encounters and its effect on the portrayal of women in medieval Jewish art and literature. At CMES, Danielle studies Arabic and continues to explore her interests of art and literature and what it can reveal about marginalized populations in the Middle East.
