Workshop Audience: Priority for new, second-language Arabic instructors (5 years or fewer in the field), master's and doctoral students, or bachelor's degree students in their final year from outside the United States

At the end of the workshop, participants will be familiar with:

- Vocabulary-learning strategies
- Grammar-learning Strategies
- Culture-learning Strategies
- Reading Strategies
- Writing Strategies
- Listening Strategies
- Speaking Strategies
- Communicative Language Classroom Management Strategies

- Short biography
- A statement in Arabic (100-500 words) explaining the applicant's philosophy re: teaching Arabic as a second/other language and their perspectives on language proficiency.
