Description: The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, Ms. Francesca Albanese, will be discussing the current situation in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory and the international legal implications of the events that unfolded since October 7. In this context, she will also address the root-causes of this most recent violence, in particular Israel's settler-colonial and carceral occupation of Palestinian territory. In this protracted coercive environment, the Special Rapporteur will be addressing its impact on children, the adults of tomorrow.
