AM Candidate in Regional Studies—Middle East
Uri is a first-year AM student in Middle Eastern Studies. Born in Israel, he grew up in the UK and graduated top of his class at University College London. Uri has worked as a journalist in the Palestinian Territories and in London, where he spent a year as a producer for CNBC. He also served as Vice President of the NGO FFIPP, a student-led organisation dedicated to unbiased education on the Israel-Palestine conflict and human rights. At Harvard he intends to study Middle Eastern politics and diplomacy with a focus on Israel-Palestine, as well as regional migration and refugee issues, an interest he developed following a period volunteering at Samos refugee camp in Greece in 2015.
