Reilly is a first year AM student coming from Georgetown University where she graduated with an Honors History degree and minors in Anthropology and Turkish. She has studied abroad in Turkey at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul as a recipient of a scholarship for further advanced Turkish language training.
Her current focus is on how narratives of Turkey’s Neo-Ottomanist foreign policy directives interact with, shape, and are shaped by Turkish domestic politics. With additional coursework in Armenian, a geopolitical grounding in the area is also important to her studies. She has previously worked as the Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and is the current Editor-in-Chief of Harvard Kennedy School’s Journal of Middle Eastern Politics and Policy.
