Kathryn Falk

Katie received her B.A. in International and Global Studies with a focus in Middle Eastern History and Arabic from Middlebury College. Following graduation, she lived in Tel Aviv and interned for the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, a legal non-profit dedicated to defending the civil and human rights of Israel’s most vulnerable populations. Upon returning to New York, she interned and worked for Encounter Programs, a nonpartisan organization that facilitates dialogue between American Jewish leaders and Palestinians through delegation trips to East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and the Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, an organization that serves as a source for nonpartisan educational resources and programming on Jewish-Arab relations within Israel and issues facing Palestinian citizens of Israel. At Harvard, she hopes to focus her research on majority-minority relations in Israel, issues of identity and belonging among Palestinian citizens of Israel, refugee issues in Israel-Palestine, and the larger Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
