Fridtjof holds a Bachelor from Sciences Po Paris, where he as part of his program completed two semesters at Emory University focusing on Persian, recent Iraqi history, Islamic Law, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He has working experience from the Carter Center’s Conflict Resolution Program, the Norwegian Army and the New York City Mayor’s Office for International Affairs. At Harvard, Fridtjof studies Iran from a foreign policy perspective, focusing on its relations with the West and Shiite groups, the geopolitics of energy and the impact of internal Iranian political dynamics. He is moreover continuing his study of modern Persian and has attended summer courses at the University of Shiraz in Iran.
