The Committee on Middle Eastern Studies is the FAS degree committee that administers degree programs offered through the Center for Middle Eastern Studies: the Master of Arts (AM) degree program in Regional Studies—Middle East and three joint PhD programs with the departments of Anthropology, History of Art and Architecture, and History. Emma Dench is the Oversight Dean of the committee.
