Bethany Kibler is a 3rd year doctoral student in the joint Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies program at Harvard University. She holds an A.M. in Middle Eastern Studies, also from Harvard, and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Pomona College. Bethany has conducted fieldwork in Syria, Tunisia, and Lebanon where her research focused on youth, masculinity and political culture. She is the co-coordinator of "The Middle East Beyond Borders" graduate workshop, a member of the Middle Eastern Studies student working group, and a resident tutor at Cabot House.
