Alreem Alghafri is a master’s student in Middle Eastern studies at Harvard University. Her research interests focus on the political economy of the Gulf and the region’s transition toward knowledge economies in a post-oil future, particularly through education, human capital, and socio-economic transformation. She is the first author of “Beyond Stereotypes: An Autoethnographic Journey of an Emirati Woman through Educational Stigma,” published in *Culture &amp; Organization* (2025). She holds a double bachelor’s degree in philosophy and sociology from Sorbonne Université Abu Dhabi, completed in French.
