Abdullah Osama Almutabagani
AM Candidate in Regional Studies—Middle East
Abdullah Almutabagani graduated cum laude in Political Science and Economics from Boston College. During his time in university he worked as a field researcher under Harvard Professor Danilo Mandic to study Syrian refugees on the Balkan Route, investigating refugee camps, migrant trafficking, and the effects of anti-smuggling measures on refugees. In Boston College Abdullah was a Fellow in the John Marshall Project, which focused on studying the citizenship and statesmanship needed by a democratic and constitutional republic. Abdullah also worked as a freelance market researcher with his friend to help kickstart a music teaching app named Ranam. Outside of university Abdullah enjoys playing football, writing poetry and reading from a wide variety of subjects such as political philosophy, game theory and history.
