DESCRIPTION:<p>The WCFIA/CMES Middle East Seminar presents</p><p><strong>Bill Corcoran</strong><br>President and CEO, American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA)<!--break--></p><p>Bill Corcoran has been the president and CEO of ANERA since January 2007. Before joining ANERA, he had been vice president of the Child Fund International, a $300 million nonprofit serving children and their families in 32 countries. During the 1990s, Corcoran directed the Pontifical Mission for Palestine based in Jordan with projects there and in Iraq. Later, he also supervised various projects in Lebanon and Syria. Corcoran began his career in the for-profit world, with procurement &amp; marketing management posts in major US corporations like Amtrak and Exide. He earned his bachelor's in public affairs from George Washington University, holds a Master’s in Theology from Mount St. Mary University, and has a Master’s in Law from the University of Ottawa.
