Meanwhile, millions of Syrians have sought protection in the neighbouring countries. The Republic of Türkiye hosts the highest number of asylum seekers</span></span></span><span><span><span>,</span></span></span><span><span><span> followed by the Lebanese Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
