He earned his PhD from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris), department of History and Civilisations in June 2012. He taught language courses at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO, Paris) and history courses, both graduate and undergraduate level, at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Before becoming a fellow at Institute d'etudes avancees de Nantes, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Humboldt University in Berlin, at the International Research Center “Work and Human Life Cycle in Global History” (“re:work” centre) and research fellow at the Käte Hamburger Centre for Advanced Study “Law as Culture”.</p><p>	<strong>Contact: </strong><a href="mailto:elizabethflanagan@fas.harvard.edu">Liz Flanagan</a></p>
