Students and professors, but also contributors from outside the academic community, recorded themselves narrating their personal experiences with lockdown, travel-restrictions, switch to new forms of education, displacement, isolation, job-loss, and more broadly, adapting their life to the new circumstances imposed on them, and on their communities. The oral testimonials featured in the film were collected and selected jointly by Harvard University’s Tunisia Office of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and the Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece, during the summer of 2020. Podcast curation and video animations are designed by Mr. Sebs, an animation studio co-directed by a Harvard CMES alum.

#After Lockdown is a combination of narrations grouped together and illustrated, to form a collective scrapbook, made to document a moment of change, to be passed-on to future generations and to our future selves.

Persons with disabilities who wish to request accommodations or who have questions about digital access, please contact cmes_tunisia@fas.harvard.edu or chsnafplion@chs.harvard.edu in advance of the session.
