#  The Surprising Women of Iran

 The *[Harvard Gazette](http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2016/08/surprising-women-of-iran/)* talks with Cambridge-based political sociologist and photojournalist [Randy H. Goodman](http://randygoodmanphotography.com/) about her exhibit [Iran: Women Only](/event/iran-women-only-art-exhibit), a comparison of Iranian womanhood in the early 1980s with the present. After openings at MIT and Harvard’s Gutman Library earlier this year, the exhibit moved to CGIS Knafel on July 30 for a monthlong showing sponsored by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
