#  Spring 2012 Middle East-related courses at Harvard

 CMES is pleased to announce that the Spring 2012 Harvard Middle East–related course list is now available. [Please click here to download.](/file_url/649)

 This list includes courses related to the Middle East from across Harvard, as well as MIT and the Fletcher School at Tufts. New courses this semester include:

- Islamic Civilizations 105 — Culture and Society in Contemporary Iran, Chad Kia
- Islamic Civilizations 183 — Reform and Revival in Modern Islam, 19th - 20th Centuries, Professor Malika Zeghal
- Islamic Civilizations 219 — Arabic Family Law from 1984-2005, Baber Johansen
- Islamic Civilizations 233 — Islamic Modernism III: 1970-2011, Baber Johansen
- Jewish Cultures 103 — Jewish Cultures in the Middle East, Dr. Susan Kahn
- Religion 1828 — Islam in the West, Professor Malika Zeghal
