The Center for Middle Eastern Studies is pleased to announce that it has begun working with [IMVBox.com](https://www.imvbox.com/) as its "Official Education Partner" in their work relating to Iranian cinema and theatre.

The purpose of this partnership is to give students the opportunity to learn further by watching Persian-language films online with the option of English subtitles. Alongside their Persian classes, visual practice allows students to improve their command of the language and sharpen their knowledge of Iranian culture.

Boasting over 1000 streaming films, IMVBox.com is the largest "online cinematheque," and the [only legal platform for digital content from Iran](http://www.bbc.com/persian/arts/2014/08/140803_l51_copright_cinema_piracy). IMVBox.com showcases a large selection of recent award-winning Persian-language visual material, including features, documentaries, shorts, and plays.
