 With the kick-off of the 2010-2011 academic year, CMES releases its [Fall 2010 Newsletter](/cmes-publications/newsletter). Highlights in this issue include an introduction of CMES’ new director, Professor Baber Johansen, student news, new publications and research, faculty awards, and snapshots of previous events. The newsletter is a small introduction to the dynamic research and teaching work on the Middle East region and Islam/Muslim communities ongoing at the Center.
