##  Teaching Arabic as a Second Language: Level One Workshop

- Workshop Time: August 19 to August 23, 2024, Daily from 10am to 2:30pm Washington DC time (EST)
- Workshop Location: Via Zoom
- Workshop Tuition: None
- Workshop Language: Arabic
- Workshop Audience: Priority for new, second-language Arabic instructors (5 years or fewer in the field), master's and doctoral students, or bachelor's/bachelor's degree students in their final year outside the United States

 To join the workshop, please register by the end of **Wednesday, July 24, 2024** (Washington, DC time, EST), by submitting:

- Biography
- A statement in Arabic (500 words at most) explaining the reasons for joining the workshop and showing how applicants can benefit from it.

 At the end of the workshop, participants will be familiar with:

- Listening Strategies
- Speaking Strategies
- Communicative Language Classroom Management Strategies

 Only the shortlisted list of applicants will be contacted.  
  
Those who successfully the workshop will receive a certificate of attendance/participation.
