 Adam Shatz is a contributing editor at the *London Review of Books*, and a visiting professor at the Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at New York University. He has reported from Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon and Algeria. In addition to the *London Review of Books*, his work has appeared in *The New York Review of Books*, *The Nation*, and *The New York Times*. He is the editor of the anthology *Prophets Outcast: A Century of Dissident Jewish Writing on Zionism and Israel*.
