 Rasoul Namazi studied Political Philosophy at Ecole des Hauts Etudes en Sciences Sociale - Centre d'Etudes Sociologiques et Politiques Raymond Aron. He is laureate of Prix Raymond Aron 2015 for his Ph.D. dissertation on John Locke and his main academic interests are History of early modern political philosophy (esp. Machiavelli, Locke), History of Islamic political thought (esp. the Qur'an, Alfarabi, Averroes, Persian Political Thought), the role of new communications in politics.
