Author; former member and speaker of the Israeli Knesset; former chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel; cofounder of Molad (The Center for Israeli Democracy Renewal); and International Coordinator, The Brune Kreisky Forum, Vienna. His publications include: *God is Back* (2006) (Hebrew); *The Holocaust Is Over: We Must Rise From its Ashes* (2008) MacMillan; *Avishag* (2011); and *Very Near to You* (2012) Gefen.
