**Arwa Labidi**  
Assistant Professor, University of Jendouba, Tunisia; Hazem Ben-Gacem Postdoctoral Fellow, Center for MIddle Eastern Studies, Harvard University

Arwa Labidi is a Tunisian historian. She received her PhD in contemporary history from the University of Paris Nanterre in 2019. Since 2022, she is Assistant Professor at the University of Jendouba. She is the author of two series of historical investigations for the Tunisian media “inkyfada" : "Gens suspects” (“Suspicious People”) and “Le Dessous des dates” (“Beyond the Dates”). Her research focuses on the forms of colonial repression in Tunisia in the early 20th century.
