**Anthony Alessandrini**  
Anthony Alessandrini is an associate professor of English at Kingsborough Community College-City University of New York, and a member of the faculty of the MA Program in Middle Eastern Studies at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, where he is also a member of the [Committe on Globalization and Social Change](http://globalization.gc.cuny.edu/). He is the author of *Frantz Fanon and the Future of Cultural Politics: Finding Something Different;* the editor of *Frantz Fanon: Critical Perspectives*; and the co-editor (with Nazan Ustundag, and Emrah Yildiz) of *"Resistance is Everywhere": The Gezi Protests and Dissident Visions of Turkey*. He is Co-Editor of *[Jadaliyya e-Zine](http://www.jadaliyya.com/)*.
