Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Bard College Andrew Bush is Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Bard College. He was previously a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Law School, and at Cracow University of Economics. His first book *Between Muslims: Religious Difference in Iraqi Kurdistan* (Stanford, 2020) received the Biannual Book Award from the Association for Middle East Anthropology in 2022. Other work is published in *Journal of Middle East Women’s Studies* and *American Ethnologist*. He has conducted research in Iraqi Kurdistan since 2004 on Islamic traditions, poetry, ethics, law, and gender and sexuality.
