The Center for Middle Eastern Studies is partnering with other Harvard area studies centers and the Harvard Business School Club of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to help provide a career development opportunity for students living in Central Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the United States.
The Program is a prestigious and a fully funded career development opportunity for students from across the world, who are the first member of their family—or the first generation within their family—to attend university and facing challenges of financial and social circumstances.
Qualifications include: students who are 18-24 years old, currently enrolled, facing challenging financial and social circumstances, fluent in English, first generation university students.
- Location: Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai – Spring 2020; exact dates TBD
- Cost: FREE (The program will cover the costs of international travel from select locations, board, lodging, and class materials. Visa costs are the responsibility of selected candidates.)
- Application deadline: The application deadline for the 2020 program has been extended to September 30, 2019 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) (please allow at least 48 hours to complete the application; applicants will need to create an account that could take up to 24 hours to activate).
