My Land

by

Nabil Ayouch
Moroccan Film Producer & Director
Nabil Ayouch is perhaps best known for his ground-breaking film Ali Zaoua, which details the lives of street children in Casablanca. His latest film, Horses of God, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year and won an award there. It depicts the way ordinary Moroccans living in the shantytowns of Casablanca become involved in radical Islam and terrorism. Ayouch's documentary, My Land, intersects Ayouch's Jewish background with the dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.

A discussion with Mr. Ayouch will follow the screening.
