CMES is pleased to present
Iran: Women Only | Their Revolution, Then and Now
An exhibit by Randy H. Goodman
Cambridge photojournalist Randy H. Goodman captured life in the Islamic Republic of Iran during the hostage crisis and the Iran-Iraq war. She recently returned to Iran after thirty-three years to photograph at yet another pivotal time in US-Iran relations: the signing of the Iran nuclear agreement. Her portraits and street scenes of Women Only, from both periods, present a unique perspective on that country's past and its future.
The exhibit is in the Knafel Concourse, the lower level of CGIS Knafel, 1737 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, Harvard University, and is sponsored by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
Randy Goodman will speak at the WCFIA/CMES Middle East Seminar on November 3. More information here: http://bit.ly/2cHVZQj.
The exhibit has extended dates and runs through November 9, with the gallery space open Monday-Friday, 7 am- 10 pm and Sunday 1 pm- 9 pm.
